DanceUP (it’s just like, a dance class…)

DanceUP is a high-energy, low-judgement move and groove dance class. It’s a jazzercise aerobics class of 1987, a lyrical dance class of 1999, and a contemporary class of 2011.

It’s corny! It’s choreo! It brings together all the ways in which dance and fitness have stayed in conversation over the decades (shaped by various forms of Spandex).

It’s a “dance like no one is watching/I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean/turn the beat around” kind of vibe…

Thursdays 5pm at LAVA in Catskill, NY 344 Main Street
